Certification of chemical and radiological composition:

  • This service is performed prior to shipment, during which representative samples are taken from the batch to be certified in accordance with the current international standard.

  • Representative samples of the batch are duly identified and sealed, and then sent to our laboratory accredited under ISO 17025 standard, to carry out the corresponding analyses.

  • Radiological inspection of scrap metal is carried out on site by our qualified personnel using appropriate measuring equipment.

  • The certification of chemical and radiological composition of scrap is issued digitally and supported by the current accreditation of our laboratory, under ISO 17025 standards.

Certification of shipment of scrap metal (ferrous):

  • Our qualified personnel act prior to and during boarding, in accordance with applicable procedures.

  • The service involves taking samples in accordance with corporate procedures. The samples are analyzed on site to verify the density for each type of scrap, a process that is carried out throughout the entire shipping process.

  • At the same time, samples are selected to determine the impurity content of the product as well as contaminating material in the batch (IMO metals).

  • This service allows obtaining a representative average of both the density of the product and the total impurity content of the batch, the data of which are instantly reported to the client or requester.

  • The certification for this service is issued digitally and is carried out once the total shipment of the product has been completed.
